This month marks one year of my blog, which is pretty amazing. I rarely keep up with things that are just for me, non-work related. The last two weeks my boyfriend has been visiting from Ohio, so I’ve done very little crafting. In fact, until this past weekend, I haven’t had that much desire to craft. Instead, I’ve just been enjoying his company.
However, this weekend I did complete a few projects. I follow about a hundred blogs through my JetBrains Omea Reader. I find myself deleting a lot of the blogging material I come across, but each day I see one or two ideas that I want to try. For instance, I found this cute craft project on Martha Stewart’s the Craft dept for Pom-Pom Branches.

I really liked how this turned out. I feared it may look like a child’s project, but I think it looks fairly good. Every day I work on some project like this or move my furniture around for the millionth time, I realize I probably should have gone into interior design.
